Croissant

A croissant is a type of French pastry in the form of a crescent-shaped roll made from a laminated dough, similar to puff pastry. The dough is made from flour, yeast, sugar, butter, and milk or water, and is layered and folded multiple times to create layers of butter and dough. The croissant is then rolled out and shaped into its crescent form before being baked to a golden brown. Croissants are often served as a breakfast pastry, and can be filled with various ingredients such as chocolate, ham and cheese, or almond paste.
